Olives for oil from the Gulf of Edremit, delivered in crates; transport to the mill is paid by the buyer.
How does the guarantee work?
- Your payment goes not to ÖnGar but to the licensed partner institution (Demo Partner); part of it stays blocked there until delivery, the rest goes to the seller.
- The seller posts collateral with the partner; for sales within its limit 25% of your payment is blocked, above the limit 100%. The part that goes to the seller is secured by that collateral.
- If the product has not arrived by the delivery date, you get back everything you paid plus damages of 36% a year (pro rata to the payment period): from the blockage first, the rest from the seller's collateral.
- 30 days after you confirm the delivery, the hold is released to the seller.
- With instalments the partner collects the down payment at the order and each instalment on its due date every month; the last one is due by the delivery date. An instalment 30 days late triggers a warning; on day 60 the order is cancelled and your payments are refunded (no damages), unless the seller declared the delivery. Early closing is free: you pay the remaining principal, the profit share of the months not yet due is not charged.
