Introduction film · narration and captions

Watch ÖnGar in two minutes

In the short film, the buyer, the seller, the bank and ÖnGar show how a prepaid sale works: the seller gives the bank collateral, the buyer's payment goes straight to the bank and the bank finances production. If the goods are delivered, the bank releases the payment to the seller; if not, the buyer is refunded right away, and ÖnGar never holds the money: it runs the flow.

Why ÖnGar

  • A marketplace that brings you customers

Buyers and sellers meet on ÖnGar: sellers get buyers, the institution gets buyers and sellers it does not bank today.

  • Deposits and credit in one flow

The buyer's payment becomes a deposit at the bank, which in the same flow finances the production of a seller with collateral.

  • Planned production, safe trade

Sellers make what was ordered; if delivery fails, buyers get back what they paid plus damages.

ÖnGar, simply put

ÖnGar in six steps

Four characters, one flow: the buyer, the seller, the bank and ÖnGar.

  • BuyerPlaces a pre-order, pays
  • SellerCompany: produces, delivers
  • BankPartner institution: holds the money and the collateral
  • ÖnGarRuns the flow, never holds the money
  1. Step 1: The buyer's worry

The buyer wants a home, or a product that has not been made yet, but is wary of paying up front. What if it is never delivered?

  2. Step 2: The seller's worry

The seller needs financing to start production, but does not want to borrow at a high cost.

  3. Step 3: Enter ÖnGar

ÖnGar is an e-commerce platform integrated directly with the bank. The buyer can be a person or a company, and meets the seller on the ÖnGar platform.

  4. Step 4: Collateral, limit, pre-order

First the seller gives the bank collateral, and the bank sets a limit. The buyer's payment goes straight to the bank, not to ÖnGar: the bank gathers deposits from the buyer and finances the production of the seller who has posted collateral. ÖnGar never holds the money; it runs the flow.

  5. Step 5: Planned production

Because orders arrive in advance, the seller can plan to produce what is in demand. The aim: the right quantity, less waste, efficient production.

  6. Step 6: Two possible endings

    If it is delivered

The buyer receives the goods and confirms; after a short holding period, the bank releases the remaining payment to the seller.

    If it is not delivered

The buyer's payment is refunded right away. The seller pays the amount back, protected against loss of value for the time that passed; if the seller cannot pay, the collateral covers the debt.

ÖnGar. Planned production, safe trade.

Who is it for?

  • Buyers

A better price for paying early. Part of your payment stays blocked at a licensed institution until delivery and the rest is secured by the seller's collateral; if delivery fails, everything you paid and damages are refunded.

    See the demo listings
  • Sellers

Fund production with the buyer's payment instead of credit. The more collateral you post, the bigger your limit and the cash you can use right away.

    Run the numbers
  • Partner institutions

Buyers and sellers you do not bank today come to you: deposits from buyers, financing for sellers with collateral. You hold the money and approve the limit.

How it works

The money stays at the partner institution at every step

The buyer's payment arrives in an account at a licensed partner institution. For a sale within the limit, a share goes to the seller and the rest stays blocked until delivery. If delivery fails, the buyer gets the money back plus damages.

  1. The buyer pre-orders and pays; the payment arrives in an account at the partner institution.
  2. Within the limit a share goes to the seller and the rest stays blocked until delivery; the part above the limit stays blocked in full.
  3. The seller delivers and the buyer confirms; a 60-day hold period runs.
  4. The blockage is released to the seller.

Example rate card: commission 4%, in-limit blockage 30%, damages 36% a year, delivery in 24 months, 60-day hold after delivery. Amounts from the ÖnGar engine; the partner institution sets the rates.

Where is the money? The platform never holds customer money (the licence under Turkish Law No. 6493 lies with the partner institution). ÖnGar only calculates, issues instructions and keeps records; every money movement happens with the partner institution's approval. This site is a demo; no real payments are taken.
